We put our faith in Divine Providence because of our Love for Him and the greater the Love then the larger our Faith is. No wonder those who have not developed a personal relationship with their God easily lose their faith in the Sublime and rely on the passing fancies and fake powers that this world offers. Our faith is always put to the test every now and then so continuously developing this relationship with our Creator must be a priority. If we love then let's have faith.
