God's law is the Truth. People may argue at times though what truly is God's Law. Yes we know that God has written His Law in our hearts and if we follow our conscience in all honesty then we are close to Truth. But sometimes we have to refer our decisions to authority for we can't just rely everything on our personal deductions. That is why the Church is there to guide us and even if She may have committed mistakes in the past we know that the Church stands by the Truth.
