Truth is very much allied with our conscience. We can educate or "train" our conscience but we cannot do so with the Truth for it is the Truth that forms our conscience. And someone has said that a pure conscience is the softest pillow on which we can rest our heads and have a great sleep. We all have to work to have a good conscience since it also more or less guarantees that if we follow its dictates then we are living according to the Truth.
